Funeral services for Wilbur Laurence Ochiltree, 81, retired farmer, were held at the Sheets and Son funeral home Dec. 11 with Dr. Glenn Parrott officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were W. A. Hobstetter, Richard Hummel, Abner Petersen, Ernest Werling, Gerald Hartog and Frank Norris. Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist.

Mr. Ochiltree died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, Dec. 9 following a short illness.

The son of Charles and Fannie Huber Ochiltree, he was born at Tipton May 5, 1892 and was educated in the Tipton schools. A lifetime resident of the Tipton area, he was a retired farmer.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Brandy (Edna) Handley, Iowa City and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters.
