Funeral services for Beda Weismann, 77, Spring Valley, Ill., former West Branch resident, were held at West Branch Nov. 28 with the Rev. Erwin Hesterberg officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.

Mr. Weismann died at Spring Valley Nov. 25, following a long illness.

Mr. Weismann was born Oct. 18, 1896, the son of Rev. Anders and Carrie Petersen Weismann. He was a brick layer by trade.

Surviving are a son, Paul, West Branch; a sister, Mrs. Anna Sorensen, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and 6 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, 2 sisters and a brother.
