15 November 1973 - The Tipton Conservative

Funeral services for Clarence Allamand, 64, Stanwood, were held Nov. 13 at St. Paul's Lutheran church with the Rev. DeWayne Kirkeide officiating. Burial was in the Stanwood cemetery. Pallbearers were Lee Williams, Donald Stiff, Dale Wood, John Tenley, Dillon Jones and Russell Chapman. Mrs. Dale Wood and Mrs. Walter Nelson were in charge of flowers.

Mr. Allamand was born at Monticello March 1, 1909. He was married to Dora Sievers at Stanwood, Dec. 14, 1940. He was employed by the Cedar County Highway commission, a member of Hegarty-Busching Legion post and a retired fireman. He had been a Stanwood resident for 27 years.

Survivors are his wife, one son, Robert, Omaha, Nebr.; 5 sisters, Mrs. Lester Schofield, Neilsville, Wisc.; Mrs. Richard Myers, Iowa City; Mrs. Hugh Turner, Frisco, Texas; Mrs. Martin Neff, Princeton; and Mrs. Clarence Guthrie, Marion, Ohio; 3 brothers, Karl, Portland, Ore.; George, Yuba City, Calif.; and Ray, Marion, Ohio.
