Funeral services for George Rufus Worsham, 66, were held at the Sheets and Son funeral home Oct. 13 with Dr. Glenn Parrott officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Eldon Hotz, Phillip Martin, Jack Winter, Jake Roberts, Greg Tenley and Michael Brice. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schott were in charge of flowers. Mrs. Arnold Swan was organist.

Mr. Worsham died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, Oct. 11, following a short illness.

The son of Frank C. and Hazeltine Denton Worsham, he was born at Concord, Ill. Sept. 1, 1907 and graduated from Tipton high school in 1927. He was married to Margaret Johnston at Tipton May 19, 1931.

A resident of the Tipton area since 1914, he was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Methodist church.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; a son, Jerome, Riverdale, Md. and 2 grandchildren.
