Final rites for Mrs. Barbara A. Bell, 84, were held at St. Mary church Sept. 3 with the Rev. George E. Snell officiating. Burial was in St. Mary cemetery.

Pallbearers were Leo Miller, Charles Gibbons, Clarence Fay, Edwin Klinkkammer, Paul Reuter and Ray Crock Jr. The Dye funeral home was in charge.

Mrs. Bell died at Cedar Manor Aug. 30.

The daughter of Albert and Caroline Lang, she was born at Tipton March 7, 1889 and was married to Eddie A. Bell at Tipton Nov. 25, 1909. Mrs. Bell spent her life in the Tipton area. She was a member of St. Mary church, its Altar and Rosary society and St. Bernadette circle and the Amvets Auxiliary of Bennett.

She is survived by 3 sons, Harold, Davenport; Keith, Tipton and James D., Las Vegas, Nev.; 3 daughters, Mrs. Donald (Edna) Bolton, Hawkeye; Mrs. Walter (Stella) Fortune, Austin, Texas and Mrs. James (Boneata) Kautz, Cedar Rapids. Also 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1960.
