MECHANICSVILLE - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Driscoll, 100, were held Thursday (today) at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic church. Rev. P. J. Casey offered the Mass. Genieve Ulrich was organist. St. Mary's choir sang.

Mrs. Driscoll died late Monday afternoon in the Hallmark Nursing home, Mt. Vernon, where she had been a resident for several years.

Don Robertson, William Driscoll, Gervase Driscoll, Bernard Crock, Richard Walderbach, Richard Driscoll and Harry Driscoll, grandsons of the deceased, were pallbearers. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery with Horners Funeral service in charge.

Mary Catherine Malone was born May 6, 1873 in Linn county, the daughter of James and Catherine O'Tool Malone. She was married to Dennis F. Driscoll May 28, 1902 in St. John's Catholic church, Omaha, Nebr. They farmed in Iowa county near Williamsburg for 25 years until moving to this community in 1928. Mr. Driscoll died on Jan. 4, 1950.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Crock, Tipton; and 3 sons, Charles, Arnold and Donald; 31 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceeding her in death were her husband, 2 sons and 2 daughters.
