Lorna DeLila (Hahn) Morgan, 78, of West Liberty, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty, IA. from complications of COPD. A Memorial Service will be determined at a later date. Family asks that all cards and memorials be mailed to 1320 Harding Ave. Tipton, IA 52772. In memory of Lorna, memorials will be forwarded to Friends of the Animals in Tipton, IA. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com .

Lorna, daughter of Daniel Willard and Glenna Lorrine (Binegar) Hahn, was born on Tuesday, August 31, 1943 at her grandmother’s home in Sutherland, NE. On December 13, 1958, Lorna and Harland “Mark” Morgan Jr, married in North Platte, NE and were blessed with their son, Mark and daughters, Lori and Kerri. They later divorced in 1971.

After her children were born, Lorna obtained her GED and attended Community College, where she obtained a Secretarial degree.

Lorna was affiliated with the First United Methodist Church and worked multiple occupations throughout her life. She initially worked in retail, then as a school custodian in Milford, NE. From there, she worked dry cleaning in Hastings, NE, Las Vegas, NV and Lincoln, NE. Her favorite job was working for Hastings Pork Corp. in Hastings, NE, where she worked in the farrowing houses. Lorna enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and loved all animals, especially dogs.

Lorna is survived by her son, Mark Morgan of Fairmont, NE; daughter, Lori (Carey) Howard of Tipton, IA; son-in-law, Randy Olsen; 8 grandchildren, Zachary (Kristine) Kuhnke, Brandon (Polly) Kuhnke, Jamie (Jim) Pinkelman, Andrea (Stephen) Smith, Tricia (Cory) Coobs, Cassie Howard, Clay (Rebekah) Howard, and Dani (Jacob) Koch; 24 great grandchildren; and her little dog, Emma. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kerri Olsen; and granddaughter, Kellie Allen.
