Funeral services for Arthur L. (Slim) Roehl, 76, were held at Durant April 4, with burial in the Durant cemetery. Mr. Roehl died at his home in Durant April 1 following an extended illness.

The son of William and Jennie Roehl, he was born at Rock Island, Ill. Oct. 12, 1893 and had been a resident of Durant for 58 years.

Mr. Roehl was a veteran of World War I; a member of the Durant American Legion; and a retired employee of the Pioneer Hybrid Corn Co. of Durant.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Alvina Guy of East Moline.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
