Funeral services for Mrs. Susie E. Brink, 91, were held April 6 at the Chapman Funeral home in Clarence with Gordon Smith officiating. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery.

Mrs. Brink died April 4 at the Clarence Nursing home where she had lived since October, 1968.

The daughter of Hiram and Caroline Doty, she was born in Massillon township July 18, 1878. She was married to Alva R. Brink Dec. 18, 1895 and they lived on a farm northeast of Clarence until March, 1917, when they moved to Clarence. Mr. Brink died in October, 1945.

They were the parents of a son, Roy H., who died in April 1950.

Mrs. Brink was a member of the Methodist church in Clarence and the WSCS.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lois Brink, Clarence, a granddaughter, Mrs. Dick Hancock, Tipton and 2 great-granddaughters, Cheryl and Jean Renae Hancock, Tipton; a brother, Howard Doty, of Wisconsin and a half-sister, Mrs. Katherine Dudley of California.
