Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Sheets and Son Funeral home with burial in Tipton Masonic cemetery for Harry J. Spear, 70, Tipton who died June 23 at his home.

Masonic services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Spear was born near Clarence. He was a retired farmer. He married Anvy Dewell at Clinton in 1922.

Mr. Spear is survived by his wife; a son Dale, Alexandria, Va.; 2 daughters, Kay Connley, Cedar Falls; Mrs. Dennis Hill, Tipton, and 14 grandchildren.
