Last rites for George Laucamp, 79, were held at the United Methodist church Feb. 28, with the Rev. Thomas Wright officiating. Burial was in Whitmer cemetery. Dr. C. D. Christianson was vocalist and Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist.

Richard Laucamp, Larry Hartig, Arlyn Holden, Dick Dettman, Maynard (Pete) Martin and Don Manatrey were pallbearers. Larry Mathias and Rick Bachelor were in charge of flowers.

Mr. Laucamp died at Cedar Manon Nursing home Feb. 26.

George Almond Laucamp, son of George H. and Susanna Whitmer Laucamp, was born in Cedar county Dec. 11, 890 and was educated in the Pleasant Hill school. He was married to Millie M. Osborn at the Tipton Presbyterian church Jan. 8, 1914.

He farmed near Sunbury until 1944 when he retired and moved to Tipton. Since that time he has done custom work in this area.

He was affiliated with the Church of God as a child.

He is survived by his wife, 3 daughters, Mrs. John (Mable) Lamp, Tipton; Mrs. Everett (Mildred) Whitmer, Walcott and Mrs. Helen Buck, Bend, Oreg.; 2 sons, Geroge C., Tipton and Mearl A., Muscatine; 2 sisters, Mrs. Dan (Ruth) Ratzloff, living in Pennsylvania and Mrs. Earl (Rachel) Collins, Chattanooga, Tenn. 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 6 sisters, a son, 3 grandsons and a granddaughter.
