Final rites for Lyle Turner Hauschild, 74, Durant, were held at Wilton Dec. 26, with burial in St. Mary's cemetery, Wilton. The Rev. John Kennedy officiated.

Mr. Hauschild died at 11 a.m. Dec. 23, following a heart attack at his home.

Born Nov. 1, 1895, he was a son of Chris and Emma Hauschild. He had resided at route 1, Durant for 21 years, having been a life resident of the community. He was a retired farmer.

Lyle Hauschild was married to Ruth Floreng, Jan. 10, 1923 at Wilton.

Survivors are 3 sons, Melvin of Tipton, Kenneth and Harold of Davenport; one brother, Albert of Winfield, Kan.; one sister, Mrs. Estee (Goldie) Dunlap of Rock Island; also 5 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, a sister, one brother, and a grandchild.
