Funeral services for Wilfred Liercke, 69, Clarence, retired painter and custodian, will be at 1:30 p.m. today (Oct. 28) at St. John's United Church of Christ in Clarence. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery.

Mr. Liercke died at the Clarence Nursing home Oct. 25 after an extended illness.

Mr. Liercke was born at Clarence. He married Essie Clemmens in 1925 at Tipton. He formerly was custodian at the nursing home and school.

Survivors are his wife; 2 daughters, Mrs. Howard Blake, Low Moor, and Mrs. Don Bixler, Clarence; 6 grandchildren and 3 brothers, Victor, Marion; Raymond of California and Edwin, Tipton.
