Funeral services for Mrs. Alvena Larick, 76, were held Sept. 29 at the Chapman Funeral home with Rev. Calvin Schumacher officiating. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery.

Mrs. Larick died at University hospital, Sept. 26. She was born Dec. 20, 1892 in Cedar county. She was married to Arthur Larick who preceded her in death.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Harry Hackert, Marion; a grandson, David Miller, and 3 great-grandchildren, also 2 brothers, J. A. Liercke, Iowa City, and Charles Liercke, Storm Lake.
