Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph Kouba, 47, were held in the Methodist church at Wyoming Sept. 3, with burial in the Wyoming cemetery. Mrs. Kouba died Aug. 31 at the Jackson county hospital, Maquoketa, after a long illness.

The former Emma Jean Broderson was born at rural Clarence. She was married to Joseph Kouba at Wyoming in 1946.

Mrs. Kouba is survived by her husband; a son, Joseph, at home; her father, Matthias Broderson, Oxford Junction, and brothers, Carl Broderson, Clarence and Peter Broderson, Wyoming.
