Final rites for Mrs. George (Nettie) Linn, 94, Tipton, will be held today (April 24) at 2 p.m. at the Tipton Bible church with the Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Sheets & Son Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Duane Dotson, Glen Nebergall, Dale Thumma, Victor Gaul, Melvin Thumma and Raymond Howe. Mrs. Richard Day and Mrs. Glen Nebergall will sing. Those in charge of flowers will be Mr. and Mrs. Homer Smith, Ruth Day and Sharon Ray.

Mrs. Linn died at Cedar Manor April 21, after an extended illness.

Nettie Bell, daughter of Orlando Howe and Mary Esther Walters, was born Feb. 6, 1875, near Wilton Junction. She was educated in rural Cedar county schools. In 1899 she married Samuel Michelwait. He preceded her in death. In 1948 she married George Linn at Rochester. He also preceded her in death. She taught in Cedar county rural schools for several years. She had resided in Tipton the past 19 years. She was a member of the Tipton Bible church.

Mrs. Linn in survived by 3 sons, Cecil Michelwait, Moline, Ill.; Harold Michelwait, Topeka, Kans.; and Ralph Michelwait, Spokane, Wash.; 4 granddaughters; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, a daughter and a great-grandchild.
