Warren Leroy Wiese, 90, of Bennett, entered eternity on Monday, November 8, 2021 while under the care of the Wheatland Manor Nursing Home. Graveside committal services will be held on Friday, November 12 at 11:00 am, Inland Cemetery, Bennett, with Pastor Scott Meyer officiating. A memorial fund has been established in his memory with proceeds being directed to the Inland Cemetery Road Fund, c/o Allen Wiese, 1226 Washington Ave, Bennett, Iowa, 52721.

Warren was born on July 5, 1931 in Bennett. He was the son of Leroy Erwin Wiese and Ruth Caroline Miller Wiese. Warren attended Bennett School until the school fire and he finished his high school in Tipton graduating with the Class of 1949. Warren was a farmer all of his life until his health declined and he moved into the assisted living section of the Wheatland Manor. Warren served his country in the US Army serving in the artillery division in Korea. Warren was a member of the Friends of the Wapsi Center.

Warren is survived by his sisters, Carolyn Bunch of Fort Collins, Colorado, Joyce Mier of Wilton, Iowa; brothers, Roger Wiese of Bettendorf, Iowa and Francis Wiese of Meridian, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Ruth Wiese, sister, Lois Whitlatch, and his brothers, Harold Wiese and Walter Wiese.
