Final rites for Marion A. Nodurft, 78, Durant, were held Sept. 30 with burial in the Durant cemetery. Mr. Nodurft died at the Wilton Nursing home Sept. 27. He had been a resident of Durant for 47 years.

Mr. Nodurft was born in Argentine, Kan. He married Sophia Proesch in 1914. The couple lived in the Oxford area before moving to Durant. Mrs. Nodurft died in 1964.

Mr. Nodurft is survived by sons, Robert H., Durant; Howard, Paradise, Mich.; Raymond, The Dalles, Ore.; and Ernest, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Allen Thede, Albuquerque, N.M.; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles, Maquoketa and Harry K., Davenport, and sisters, Mrs. Alvin Cave, California; Ethel Logan, Wyoming and Mrs. Bethel Fritz, Monmouth.
