Last rites for Robert Daniel Wilkerson, 103, Wilton, were held Sept. 28 with burial in Oakdale cemetery at Wilton. The Rev. I. G. Wilkins of the Wilton Methodist church officiated.

Mr. Wilkerson died Sept. 26 at his home in Wilton after a short illness. He had been active in his workshop in Wilton until about 2 years ago.

Born Nov. 1, 1864 in Virginia, Mr. Wilkerson was the son of James and Rebecca Wyant Wilkerson. He had lived in Wilton for 85 years.

He married Clara Weaver Nov. 5, 1891 in Cedar county. She preceded him in death. Mr. Wilkerson was a retired building contractor.

Survivors include 4 sons: Warren and Oakley, Wilton; Cecil, Saratoga, Calif.; George, Forsythe, Mo.; and 4 daughters, Mrs. Vesta Murdock, Wilton; Mrs. Lela Starver and Mrs. Ann Armstrong, Davenport; Mrs. Alice Aldinger, Clinton. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and a sister, in addition to his wife.
