Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Smith Kinsey, 92, were held at West Branch June 25 with the Rev. Roger Tappmeyer in charge. Burial was in North Prairie cemetery at West Liberty.

Mrs. Kinsey died at a West Branch nursing home June 23.

Born in Cedar county, April 16, 1876, the daughter of Richard and Sarah Moore Smith, she was a life resident of West Branch and Cedar county.

Dec. 10, 1902 at Iowa City, she married Thomas A. Kinsey. She was a member of the West Branch United Methodist church, the Centerdale club and the Home Social club.

Survivors are 2 sons, Richard, Cedar Rapids and Harold, West Branch; 3 daughters, Mrs. Arlene Brown and Mrs. Margery Maske, both of West Branch, and Mrs. Grace Roe, Cassville, Wis.; a sister, Mrs. Lucille Lufborough of Sunnyside, Wash.; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
