Services for Louis LaMaack, 72, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Durant, were held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Frick Funeral Home, Durant. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Mr. LaMaack died May 12 in Mesa.

He was born near Bennett. He married Ella Lage Sept. 21, 1935. Mr. LaMaack was a retired farmer. He moved from Durant 9 years ago.

He is survived by his wife; 2 sons, Donald, Big Rock; and Raymond, Davenport; a step-daughter, Mrs. Betty Huesman, Mesa; a sister, Mrs. Christina Rohwedder, Durant; a brother, William of Davenport; 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
