Final rites for Mrs. Raymond (Charlotte) Hermiston, 39, were held in Our Lady of Victory Catholic church, Davenport, Aug. 25, with burial in Mt. Calvary cemetery.

Mrs. Hermiston died Aug. 23 in Mercy hospital, Davenport. Death was due to cancer.

The former Charlotte Gobel was born in Elmhurst, Ill. She was formerly a teacher in the Rock Island, Ill. school system.

She was married to Ray Hermiston Aug. 20, 1949, in Rock Island. She was Chairman of the St. Zita circle of St. Mary Church Guild, Tipton.

Mrs. Hermiston is survived by her husband; 3 daughters, Madelyn, Kathleen and Colleen and 5 sons, Stephen, Kevin, Brian, Dean and Colin, all at home; her mother, Mrs. Charles Govel, Elmhurst and a sister, Mrs. J. Lauder, Aurora, Ill.

The family asked that memorials be made to St. Mary Catholic church, Tipton.
