Jack E. Wiley, 82, longtime resident of West Branch, passed away peacefully June 26, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he was surrounded by his loving family.

Jack was born April 10, 1939, in Auburn, Ind., to Orville and Opal (Rinehold) Wiley. Raised in Pleasant Lake, Ind., Jack became a star athlete for the Pleasant Lake High School basketball team and graduated in 1957. Jack wasted no time after high school starting his career with Moore Business Forms in Angola, Ind. Jack married Barbara Ann Threlkeld on June 11, 1960, in Angola. They moved to West Branch, Iowa, in 1969 for his job with Moore Business Forms in Iowa City. They raised their two children, Kim and Kip, in West Branch, Iowa. He was devoted to his role at Moore Business Forms (now known as RR Donnelly) for more than 40 years, working his way up to plant manager in 1987 and retiring in 1996. He purchased Anita Printing in 1997 and owned it until 2014.

Jack was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, colleague and friend. He was active in the West Branch community for many years, especially for Kiwanis and was on the West Branch City Council. Jack loved sports, especially the Hawkeyes and enjoyed going to basketball and football games to cheer them on. He was an avid golfer, bowler and even played softball for adult leagues. Jack and his grandson Brack held a very special bond. He loved being "Papa Jack" and spending as much time with him as possible as he was growing up.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Wiley; daughter, Kim (Joe Panozzo) Wiley-Panozzo; son, Kip (Trish Whidby) Wiley; grandchildren, Brack (Kelsie) Bingham, Joe (Emily) Panozzo, Rene Panozzo and Marie Panozzo; one great-granddaughter, Valentina Panozzo; furry friends, Lizzie and Charlie, and many extended family members.
