Mrs. Louis D. Foss, 87, Davenport, former Bennett resident, died in the Fejervary Nursing home at Davenport Feb. 16 after a year's illness.

Funeral services were Feb. 20 at Davenport, with burial in Davenport Memorial park.

Marie Paulsen was born in Germany and came to this country as a girl. In 1901 she was married to Mr. Foss in Holstein.

The couple had farmed in the Bennett area before moving to Davenport. Mr. Foss died in 1947.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Theresa Schmidt, Kenosha, Wis.

A daughter preceded her in death.
