Last rites were held Dec. 12 at the West Branch Methodist church for Joseph Bohac. The Rev. Roger Tappmeyer of the West Branch Methodist church officiated, with burial in Oakland cemetery in Iowa City.

Mr. Bohac, 70, died Dec. 10 at Mercy hospital in Iowa City after a one-month illness.

He was born Aug. 8, 1896, at Walker, the son of Frank and Louise Drapela Bohac. He married Ethel Yries Oct. 11, 1950 at Cedar Rapids.

He spent all his adult life on a farm west of West Branch. He was a member of the Methodist church.

Surviving are his widow; 2 sisters, Louise Bohac, at home and Mrs. Mary Lovetinsky, Oasis and 2 nieces. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers.
