20 October 1966 - The Tipton Conservative

Funeral services for Wilson E. Morrow, 72, who had been a resident of the Tipton-West Branch area for 12 years, were held at 1 o'clock Tuesday at First Presbyterian church in Vinton. Mr. Morrow died Oct. 14 at the Vinton hospital. He had been hospitalized for several weeks and had not been well since an operation Jan. 27.

He resigned Oct. 7 after 13 years as a rural representative for The Cedar Rapids Gazette. For the last 13 years he had lived in Tipton, West Branch and Iowa City areas.

A native of Newhall, he farmed around Vinton and Blairstown before working for the Gazette.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; a son, Robb, Vinton; two daughters, Mrs. Marian Keffer, Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Louis Kaiser, Keystone; 17 grandchildren and a sister, Hazel Busenbark, Mt. Vernon.
