William Henry Pirkey, 84, of Wilton Junction died Oct. 14 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was the son of Ferdinand and Lucy King Pirkey. He was born Jan. 9, 1882 in Cedar county.

A life-long resident of the Wilton Junction area, Pirkey married Agnes M. Schroeder, Dec. 28, 1921 at Davenport. He was a painter and decorator.

He is survived by his wife, Agnes. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Albert.

Funeral services were Oct. 17 with graveside services at the Tipton Masonic cemetery.
