Funeral services for Harold George Kensinger, 48, were held Sept. 26 at the Sheets and Son funeral home, with Gordon Smith officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were John and Leonard Voss, Raymond and Leonard Jepson, Wilson Howe and Joe Conway. Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist and Mrs. Donald Parker vocalist. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Stiff and Mrs. Alfred Williams were flower attendants.

Mr. Kensinger died at the Crestview Nursing home Sept. 23.

The son of David and Minnie Jensen Kensinger, he was born at Tipton Feb. 22, 1918 and was educated in the rural schools of Cedar county. He was a laborer.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Joann and Janet Kensinger, Muskegon, Mich.; a brother, Fred, Newport, Ark.; a sister, Mrs. Mearl (Marie) Christian, and an uncle, John (Heinie) Kensinger, both of Tipton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter in infancy.
