Margaret E. Seebeck (1926-2021)

Margaret Elaine Seebeck, 94, of Tipton IA, formerly of Bennett IA, entered eternity on February 12, 2021. She was under the care of the Cedar Manor Nursing Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 14, 2021 at 11:00 at Fry Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Inland Cemetery, Bennett, Iowa. Online condolences may be shared at Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Tipton, Iowa.www.fryfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Cancer Research and gifts may be forwarded to Sandra Burton, 147 Richard Ferry Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22406.

Margaret was one of 14 children born to Raymond Edward and Lura Marie Hartsock Stagg. She came into this world on August 17, 1926 in Iowa City, Iowa. Margaret graduated with the Class of 1945 from Springdale High School. On September 12, 1948, Margaret was united in marriage to Louis George Frederick Seebeck in West Liberty, Iowa. Margaret worked several jobs during her lifetime but will best be remembered as a wife, mother and homemaker. Her faith was very important to her as she was a past member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bennett and later transferred her membership to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Tipton.

Margaret is survived by her two children, Sandra Seebeck (Burton) and her husband, Franklin Keith Burton of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Her son, William Seebeck of Chiefland, Florida and 2 grandsons, Adam and Ryan Seebeck residing in Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis, who passed in 1981. Margaret had 13 brothers and sisters. Her surviving siblings are Kathleen Stagg (Murray) of Berryville AK, Leslie Stagg of Brainard MN, Donald Stagg of Cedar Rapids, and Wayne Stagg of Rapid City SD.
