Eric W. Bicknese, 57, died March 19 at the University hospital at Iowa City, after a long illness.

Mr. Bicknese had been a resident of Wilton for 44 years. He was born Nov. 24, 1908, at Bennett. He was married to Ramona M. Smith in 1940 at Wilton Junction.

Surviving are the widow; 2 sons, Larry and Jerry both of Wilton Junction; 2 daughters, Mrs. Karen Garrison and Mrs. Beverly A. Reed, both of Wilton Junction; one brother, Elmer C. Bicknese of Anamosa; 2 sisters, Mrs. Kenyon (Clara) Fitzjarrell, Davenport and Mrs. Norma Pierce, Los Angeles; his mother, Mrs. Louise Bicknese, Davenport; and 3 grandchildren.

Funeral services were March 22 at Wilton Junction. Interment was at Oakdale cemetery, Wilton Junction.
