Services Mrs. Anna Pruess, 69, of Durant, who died June 13 at Mercy hospital in Davenport following a short illness, were June 16. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

She was born Jan. 26, 1896, to Claus and Anna Voigt, Davenport. She had been a resident of Durant 13 years.

Mrs. Pruess married Fred Pruess Sept. 2 , 1919, at Brokings, S.D. Mr. Pruess died in 1951. They had been farmers in the Sunbury and Durant areas.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Lorraine) Olderog of Walcott, a brother, John C. Voigt of Moline, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
