Last rites were held May 17 for William R. Ringgenberg, 63, retired farmer at Wilton Junction. Burial was in the Oakdale cemetery. Mr. Ringgenberg died at the Wilton nursing home following a long illness.

Mr. Ringgenberg was a life resident of Wilton Junction. He was born June 6, 1901, the son of Chris and Christina Killian Ringgenberg.

He was married May 12, 1926 at Wilton Junction to Edna Fliss. He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ.

Surviving are a son, Lamont, Davenport; 2 daughters, Marvell and Linda, both at home; 2 brothers, Harold and Guy, both of California; 5 sisters, Mrs. Cora Jacobsen, Anna Ringgenberg, Mrs. Ed (Ruth) Maurer and Mrs. Mildred Hill, all of Wilton Junction, and Mrs. William (Dorothy) Walter, Silvis, Ill.; and 4 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife and a son, Harlan.
