Funeral services for Mrs. Meta Marie Klinkkammer, 86, will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Stanwood, with the Rev. Reginald Muhl officiating.

Pallbearers will be grandsons: Jim and Thomas Fagan, Robert and Dennis Domer, Charles Heick Jr. and Larry Wilcox. The church choir will sing, with Emil Licht as organist. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Klein, Mrs. Melvin Oldorf and Norma Sievers are in charge of flowers. Sheets and Son are in charge.

Mrs. Klinkkammer died May 11 at the Rice Custodial home after a long illness.

The daughter of Henry and Dorothea Ritt Steffens, she was born Nov. 24, 1878 in Hannover, Germany. She was educated in the Hannover Lutheran school and was married to Michael Klinkkammer Sept. 19, 1895 in Clarence.

She lived most of her life in the Stanwood area where her husband was a farmer.

She is survived by 5 sons, Alvin, West Branch, Arnold, M. F. and Frank, Stanwood and Edwin, Tipton; 5 daughters, Mrs. Edgar (Lillian) Simmons, West Branch; Mrs. William (Elsie) Daab, Olin; Mrs. Charles (Millie) Heick, Clarence; Mrs. Arthur (Bessie) Domer, Stanwood and Mrs. Herbert (Leona) Fagan, Tipton; 17 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, a brother and a sister.
