Funeral services for Mrs. Kathryn M. Maurer, 67, Wilton Junction, were held March 5 at Wilton Junction with the Rev. Vincent Morrissey officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery.

Mrs. Maurer died March 1 at her home in Wilton Junction.

Born Aug. 12, 1897, at Walcott, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mialtida Mullenback Budjewski.

She married Harry W. Maurer June 7, 1917, in Rock Island. A life-long resident of Wilton Junction, she was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic church and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Survivors include her husband; 3 sons, Wayne J., West Liberty; John R., Wilton Junction and Donald E. of Fountain Valley, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. John (Juainta) Marolf, Moscow; two brothers, Edward, Muscatine and Ralph, Davenport; a sister, Mrs. Otillia Buchmeier, Durant; 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 6 step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, and two sisters.
