Funeral services for Mrs. Gus D. Goldsmith, 83, of Clarence, who died in her home Nov. 27, were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. John's United Church of Christ. Burial was in St. John's cemetery.

The former Emma Kreinbring was born May 8, 1881, near Lowden. She married Gus D. Goldsmith Feb. 9, 1905, at Lowden.

Pallbearers were Lawrence Conrad, Floyd Hansen, Lloyd Hasselbusch, Norman Goldsmith, R. A. Kreinbring and Leonard Kreinbring. Those in charge of flowers were Mrs. August Dettman, and Mrs. Lavern Kintzel and music was by the mixed quarter, accompanied at the organ by Betty Hasenbank.

Surviving are sons Lorence, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Marvin W., of Clarence; a daughter Mrs. William Schroeder, Clarence; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother Charles Kreinbring, Tipton.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Norbert.
