Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Palmer, 70, a former Springdale resident, were held at Washington July 16 with burial in the Springdale cemetery.

Mrs. Palmer was born at Marshfield, Wis. Jan. 6, 1894 and graduated from the Springdale high school. She was married to Walter A. Palmer May 9, 1921. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by 4 children, Mrs. Loreana Creamer, living in Maine; Mrs. Robert Nicola, Washington; William, Des Moines and Walter, Ainsworth; 2 brothers, Everett E. Ward, Washington and J. Russell Ward, Marion and 8 grandchildren.
