Mrs. Edna Lage Baker, 55, of Noel, Mo., formerly of Durant, died in Noel after a long illness. She was born July 4, 1908, in Cedar county, the daughter of Julius and Anna Lage. She married Sam Baker in 1942.
Survivors include the husband; four daughters, Mrs. Ray Schumaker, Clinton, Mrs. Charles Farley, Davenport, Mrs. Hugo Zadach, Minneapolis, Minn., Ruth Baker, Noel, Mo.; a son, Dale Baker, Fort Leonard, Mo., and 12 grandchildren.
Four sisters, Mrs. LeRoy Klahn, Wilton Junction, Mrs. Martha Westphal, Davenport, Mrs. Gilbert Morhorst, Durant, and Mrs. Elmer Arp, Corpus Christi, Texas; three brothers, Arnold Lage, Durant, Reinhardt Lage, New Liberty, and Harry Lage, Davenport.
Funeral services were July 6 in Davenport, with burial in the Durant cemetery.
