Funeral services for Fred Bossow, 74, will be held at 1:30 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home, with Gordon Smith in charge.

Pallbearers will be Robert Pierce, George and Fred Townsend, Hilbert Whitmer, William Salyars and Ludwig Kettleson. Mrs. George Townsend and Mrs. Hilbert Whitmer will be in charge of flowers.

Mr. Bossow died suddenly of a heart attack at his farm home 12 miles southeast of Tipton about noon Dec. 9 while doing chores.

The son of Joseph and Doris Deinke Bossow, he was born Oct. 15, 1888 at Romeo, Mich.

He was a farmer most of his life and was farming south of Tipton at the time of his death. He made his home with his sister, Matilda.

He is survived by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He was preceded in death by a sister.
