Funeral services for Everett Floyd Jeffers, 61, were held Monday at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home in Tipton with the Rev. A. C. Long in charge. Pallbearers were George Cary, Walter Eilers, Roger Maher, Wallace Wingert, George Worsham and Lester Chambliss.

Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Spencer and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Armstrong Sr. were in charge of flowers.

Burial was in the Masonic cemetery.

Mr. Jeffers, who had been in ill health for several years, died at University hospital, Iowa City, Friday afternoon, Oct. 26, where he had been a patient for 28 days.

The son of John and Sarah Jane Pirkey Jeffers, he was born in Tipton Oct. 27, 1900. He was married to Helen Gregg at Burlington Dec. 14, 1926.
