The sad news of the death of Miss Anna Nicoll was received over the wire by friends here Wednesday from Tarko, Missouri. She died at 10:30 Wednesday morning, of Typhoid fever and the funeral was to take place yesterday afternoon at that place, at 2 o'clock. Miss Nicoll was well known here and was very highly respected by all who knew her, and it is with much grief that her many friends will learn of the demise of this highly esteemed young lady. She was raised in this community, having lived here, we believe, all her life, with her parents, who own a farm four miles north-east of the city.

A few months ago she left Clarence to attend school at the above named place where she has been sick for several weeks.
