Mabel M. Dutton, 76, died May 17 at her home in Durant after a long illness.

Funeral services were held May 19 in Wilton Junction. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Miss Dutton was born April 11, 1886, in Cedar county, a daughter of S. A. and Margaret Shoemaker Dutton. She lived in Durant for 76 years.

Surviving are 2 brothers, Gilbert, Marion and Lloyd Dutton, Durant, 2 nieces and a nephews. Her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters preceded her in death.
