Funeral services for Mrs. Corlista Horn, 83, were held Jan. 17 at the Sheets and Dahn Funeral home with the Rev. Omer Pettersen of Bennett and the Rev. Gordon Vickery of Stanwood in charge.

Pallbearers were 3 grandsons, Allen, Glen and Kenneth Nebergall, a great-grandson, Don Schultz and 2 nephews, Marvin Wilkerson and Parker Burroughs.

Mrs. Wendell Willer was vocalist and Mrs. Irma Crawford, organist. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Purviance, Mrs. George Rice and Mrs. Hallie Lamp were in charge of flowers.

Burial was in the Masonic cemetery.

Mrs. Horn died at St. Luke's hospital in Cedar Rapids Jan. 14 where she had been taken 3 hours before her death.

The daughter of John W. and Martha Jane Long Burroughs, she was born Sept. 21, 1878 at Lisbon and had lived in the Tipton community for 62 years.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Grace Hill, Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Vearl (Gertrude) Nebergall, Tipton, a brother, John Burroughs, Tipton and a sister, Mrs. Mabel Wilkerson, West Branch, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
