Funeral services for Loma Olive Henderson, 91, were held Dec. 16 at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home with the Rev. I. S. Hayenga in charge. Burial was in Red Oak cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ray Potter, Forrest Chamberlain, Lance Schilling, Carl Frederick, Harold Wentzel and Allen Rumble, Jr. Laura Geller was organist.

Mrs. Henderson died Dec. 13 at her home in Tipton following a short illness.

Loma Olive, oldest of the 10 children of Thomas J. and Mary Ohl Franklin, was born Nov. 16 at North Liberty. She was graduated from the West Liberty high school in 1891 and taught school for a short time. She was married to John G. Henderson of Tipton, Dec. 7, 1892.

Mr. Henderson died in March, 1936, when she returned to Tipton. She was a member of the Presbyterian church, uniting with the church at Gruver in 1919.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 children who died in infancy, and a son Roland, who died in 1951.

She is survived by 2 sons, Alton, Delhi, and Milton, Tipton; 2 daughters, Mary, Tipton, and Mrs. Clifford (Edith) Eden, Calamus; 2 brothers, George Franklin, Spencer, and Oscar Franklin, Des Moines, and 2 grandchildren.
