Funeral services were conducted at Durant Oct. 28 for Mrs. Anna Huesmann, 72, who died Oct. 24 at the Wilton nursing home after an extended illness.

Anna Hagge Huesmann was born Jan. 4, 1891, at Lowden. She was a resident of the Durant area 19 years.

She married William Huesmann Sept. 20, 1911. The couple celebrated their golden anniversary 2 years ago.

Surviving are her husband, Vernon of Mesa, Ariz., 2 daughters, Mrs. Vernon (Norma) Petersen, Sunbury, and Mrs. Clifford (Lula) Petersen, Durant; 2 brothers, William of Sunbury and Adolf of Durant; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Edwin of Stockton and a sister.
