Funeral services for Mrs. John Davidson, 81, were held Sept. 29 at the United Presbyterian church in Stanwood with the Rev. James Elvig in charge. Burial was in the Stanwood cemetery.

Mrs. Merl Carroll was organist and Mrs. Alf Meyer and Mrs. Kenneth Smith were in charge of flowers. Pallbearers were Dillon Jones, Bill Horr, Harlan Voelker, James Smith, Harry Hegarty and Jack Hanks.

Mrs. Davidson died Sept. 26 at St. Luke's hospital in Cedar Rapids after a short illness.

Florence Baker, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. C. W. Baker, was born April 5, 1882, at Kossuth and came to Stanwood as a young girl. She was married to John Davidson 54 years ago and they made their home in Stanwood, except for a few years spent near Washington.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Irene Haupt, a son, Edwin, and 2 grandchildren, Bob and Ruth Davidson.
