Funeral services for Mrs. William E. Helm, 46, Mechanicsville, were held at 1 p.m. Sept. 9 in the Presbyterian church at Mechanicsville. Burial was in Sigourney.

Mrs. William E. Helm, 46, died Sept. 5, in an Iowa City hospital following a long illness.

The former Martha Hamilton was born Oct. 11, 1916, at Sigourney. She was married to William Helm in 1947. She was a former employee of Collins Radio Company in Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include her husband; a step-daughter, Mrs. Duane Whitney, Cedar Rapids; her mother, Ethel Hamilton, Sigourney, and 2 brothers, Edgar Hamilton, Seattle, Wash., and Jack Hamilton, Council Bluffs.

Services: Monday at 1 p.m. in the Presbyterian church here. Burial in Sigourney.
