Funeral services for Mrs. Ione Myers, 89, were held Tuesday, Aug. 20 at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home with Father Steven Hulme of Davenport in charge. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist.

Mrs. Myers died Aug. 18 at the Wilton Nursing home, Wilton Junction, after a short illness.

The daughter of Annias and Doris Wright Myers, she was born in Cedar county June 23, 1874 and spent most of her life in the county.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Albert (Golda) Martins, Cleveland, Ohio; a granddaughter, Mrs. Leo (Veeda) Snider, Davenport; 4 grandsons, Forest Martins, Lima, Ohio and Lloyd, Dale and Arnold Piersall, all of Cedar Rapids; 8 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1934, a son, a daughter and a grandson.
