Services for a former Tipton resident, Mrs. Madeleine Randall Wendorf, who died July 19 at the Virginia Gay hospital in Vinton, were held July 22 at the Redeemer Lutheran church in Iowa City. The Rev. William F. Krueger was in charge and burial was in Memory Gardens at Iowa City.

She was a patient at the Lutheran Home for the Aged at Vinton since April 30 and had been in ill health for several years. She was born Oct. 1, 1894 in Massachusetts. Survivors include her husband; 2 daughters, Mrs. Richard (Olive) Kintzel, Lowden and Mrs. Paul (Ruth) Murphy, California; 3 sons, John Kephart of Davenport, Lester Kephart of Muscatine and Walter Kephart of West Branch and 13 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Bert Kephart and a son Harold.
