Funeral services for Edwin Walter Anderson of Cedar Rapids, a former resident of West Branch, were held July 20 in Cedar Rapids with burial in Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Anderson was born in Cedar county June 30, 1896, and had lived in Cedar Rapids 35 years, where he was resident manager of a life insurance company.

He was married to Mary Ann Schneider April 14, 1934 in Cedar Rapids. Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 daughters, Margot Kennedy of Washington and Cherrie Gaylor Anderson of Cedar Rapids; a son, Gaylen Edwin Anderson of Cedar Rapids; 2 sisters, Serena Sorensen, Kasson, Minn.; Verna Albin, Central City and Mrs. Ed Anderson, Springdale, and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. P. Anderson, and 3 sisters.
