Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 19 at St. John's United Church of Christ, Clarence for Mrs. Edwin (Irene Elizabeth) Meyer, 63. Dr. C. W. Ebbert will officiate, with burial in St. John's cemetery. The Chapman funeral home is in charge.

Pallbearers are Wayne and Arthur Robinson, John Kahl, Wilfred Pruess, James Sawyer and Lawrence Ruther. Antoinette Rix is organist, with Mrs. Wayne Robinson and Mrs. James Sawyer in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Meyer died July 16 in a Cedar Rapids hospital. She underwent surgery July 6 and again July 14.

Mrs. Meyer, the daughter of John and Martha Fehling Klatt, was born March 25, 1910 in Clarence and spent her life in the Clarence community, where she attended school. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and of the Women's Guild.

She is survived by her husband; a son, James, at home; a sister, Mrs. Otto (Leona) Frey, all of Clarence.
